"Beat the Bagel" Sweepstakes – Official Rules

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The "Beat the Bagel" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by PopUp Bagel ("Sponsor") and administered by RunReach ("Administrator").

2. Promotion Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 am PT on 5/3/2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on 11:59 pm PT on 5/3/2026 (the "Promotion Period").

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Limit of 1 entry per person.

Employees of Sponsor, Administrator, and race organizers, and their immediate family or household members, are not eligible.

Void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

No purchase or race registration is required to enter or win. Participation in the race is not required. Limit one (1) entry per person.

Method 1: Race Performance Entry

Eligible individuals will receive one (1) entry if they:

• Are officially registered participants in the race
• Complete the full course on Race Day
• Record an official chip time faster than the designated Sponsor runner (the "Designated Runner")

Walkers are eligible. Virtual participants are not eligible.

Method 2: Free Email Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

To enter without participating in the race, individuals may send an email during the Promotion Period to dylan@getrunreach.com.

The email must include:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Date of birth
• Subject line: "Beat the Bagel Entry"
• Include a brief statement (at least 100 words) on why you want to 'Beat the Bagel'.

Limit: One (1) entry per person via email.
Email entries must be received during the Promotion Period to be eligible.

Equal Odds Statement:

Only eligible race participants who record a chip time faster than the Designated Runner will be included in the drawing pool for race-based entries.
For clarity, individuals entering via the Alternate Method of Entry will have the same odds of winning as race participants who meet the eligibility criteria described above.

5. Winner Determination

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Official race chip timing, as determined by the race organizers, is final and binding. All determinations regarding the Designated Runner's official time are final.

6. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted via:

• Email (for race and email entries)

within approximately one (1) week following the Promotion Period.

If:

• A notification is returned as undeliverable,
• The potential winner cannot be contacted, or
• The winner does not respond within seven (7) days

…the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.

7. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded:
A $100 digital gift card issued by the Sponsor (the "Prize").
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $100

Prize Delivery & Redemption

• The Prize will be delivered electronically via email to the email address provided by the winner during entry or winner verification
• The digital gift card may be redeemed at participating Sponsor locations nationwide
• The gift card does not expire

Prize Conditions

• The Prize is non-transferable and may not be resold, assigned, or exchanged
• No cash redemption or substitution is permitted, except where required by law, including California law governing gift cards
• Use of the gift card is subject to the Sponsor's standard terms and conditions

Delivery Disclaimer

• Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for:
  • Lost, deleted, or misdirected emails
  • Emails filtered to spam or junk folders
  • Incorrect email addresses provided by the entrant
• The Prize will not be reissued or replaced if lost, deleted, or not received due to the winner's failure to provide accurate contact information or monitor their email

Taxes

Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Prize. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 where required.

8. Designated Runner

The "Designated Runner" is an experienced runner selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Designated Runner will participate in the race under the same general conditions as other participants. Official chip timing will determine the Designated Runner's finish time, which shall be final and binding. In the event chip timing fails or the Designate Runner does not finish, all runners that complete the race will be entered to win.

9. Disqualification

Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to disqualify any individual who:

• Tampers with the entry process
• Violates these Official Rules
• Acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner
• Submits inappropriate or infringing content
• Provides false or misleading information

10. Release and Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, race organizers, and their affiliates from any claims arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize, to the extent permitted by law.

The Sponsor is not responsible for the administration, operation, or safety of the race event or sweepstakes.

Participation in the race involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or death. By participating, entrants voluntarily assume all such risks. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any injury or harm arising from participation in the race or related activities.

11. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes consent to use the winner's name, likeness, social handle, and related content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

12. User Generated Content License

By submitting content in connection with this Sweepstakes, entrants grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content for promotional and marketing purposes in any media.

13. Data Use and Privacy

Information collected from entrants, including name, email address, phone number, and date of birth, will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes, including contacting and verifying the potential winner.

Such information will not be sold, shared with, or used for marketing by third parties. Sponsor will not use entrant information for marketing purposes unrelated to this Sweepstakes.

California residents may have additional rights regarding their personal information under applicable law, including the right to request access to or deletion of their personal information. Personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used solely for administration of the Sweepstakes.

14. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or X (Twitter).

15. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if necessary due to fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond its control. Entries generated by script, macro, or automated means are void.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

• Technical or platform failures
• Lost, late, or misdirected entries
• Timing or scoring errors

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Designated Runner at its sole discretion.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration:

Except where prohibited, any dispute arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitration provider.

If deemed unenforceable under applicable law, disputes may be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of California.

Class Action Waiver:

Entrants agree that any disputes will be brought solely in an individual capacity, and not as part of any class, collective, or representative action.

17. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

For the name of the winner, send a request to dylan@getrunreach.com within sixty (60) days following the end of the Promotion Period.
